Supporting Young Academics of the German Diabetes Society
The German Diabetes Society will award travel grants to young scientific professionals for the Diabetes Congress 2017.

The Diabetes Congress offers an optimal platform to gain more information about this multifaceted field and to network with peers and colleagues. Mentors in academia, clinicians and those in practice will offer assistance and function as a contact person to the awardees during the Diabetes Congress. The goal is for the young colleagues to become inspired by diabetology and to support prospective diabetologists.

Scientific Support of Young Talent
75 travel grants up to 400 EUR each will be awarded to authors of scientific papers as well as free admission to the Diabetes Congress 2017. PhD candidates and physicians who are younger than 40 years old and who are listed as first author on a submitted abstract are encouraged to apply for a travel grant.
